Robotsoccer has arrived and although these robots are controlled by the fee paying public, it is due to take the entertainment industry by storm.
Robotsoccer has been a huge success in Kevin Keegan's Soccer Circus, Glasgow. It added an exciting element for the whole family to enjoy and has proved to be a great revenue generator.
Essentially the game consists of 4 robots, a football pitch, and two goals and of course the ball!! It is a simple concept, but VERY addictive.
Robotsoccer can be installed in numerous venues such as family entertainment centre, theme parks, soft play centre, holiday resorts, conference centre & hotels, fairgrounds, shopping centres, museums, race circuits and laser centres - the only limit is your imagination!
Robotsoccer is a self-contained system, enabling 4 players to control the robots, requiring a space of 7.5 metres x 5 metres. It is designed for constant use, with barriers to protect the crowds. It comes as a trailer and weather-proof dome and cover, enabling a one-hour setup.
Joysticks give the players full motion and speed control over the robots so the players can attempt to drive the ball into the opposing goal. The opposing players can defend their goal by using their robot to push other players out of the way and take control of the ball. Goals scored or conceded are shown on large LED displays to both the players and spectators and at the end of the battle the highest wins.
The system has a powerful sound system that adds to the overall experience and can be operator controlled with a PA system if required.
The system does not require a full time operator and has the flexibility to be coin-operated or free play, allowing contestants a 4 minute game. The opportunity lies in the addictive nature of the game, you'll be playing it again and again!
The unit is unbranded so the barriers are ideal for advertising boards for corporate events.
