Our responsibilities
1) We will give you clear information about the services available before you commit to hire as well as clear information on who we are and our full contact details.
2) You will receive details of your booking in writing, via the email address you have supplied. We will also confirm your booking, usually by telephone and post.
3) You have a cooling off period of 7 days from the date of order to cancel your booking, unless your booking date is within 14 days, in which case cancellation charges may apply. For this reason we recommend that such bookings are made via the telephone, on 08712 884450
4) We will show you a complete quote, including VAT and transport/installation within the M25 / Greater London area. Please note that you booking will be subject to additional travel charges if the delivery address is not within this area.
5) You will receive a full VAT invoice, including our VAT and Company registration number.
6) You will receive a booking confirmation including delivery address, size and type of floor booked, setup and breakdown times. This will need to be fully checked, signed and returned to us.
7) Cancellation charges are as follows:
a) More than 7 days after booking but more than 8 days before event, 30% of fee as cancellation charge.
b) Less than 7 days before event cancellation fee is 100% of booking amount.
Our installation requirements/rules
1) We only install our dancefloors on largely flat, clean and dry areas. The technology allows for a certain amount of deviation across the floor expanse, but our installers will not install a floor in an unsafe manner.
2) Under no circumstances will we install our floors outdoors without a suitable and reliable cover (eg professional marquee) AND suitable floor covering (eg marquee carpet or marine ply subfloor)
3) For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that you advise your guests and anyone using the floor to refrain from taking drinks (especially in glass containers) onto the floor.
4) The lit floors require a 13amp standard UK power socket not more than 30ft from one corner of the floor
5) If the dancefloor is being laid somewhere other than ground floor then we require that a lift is available of at least 6ft x 4ft in size.
6) We will endeavour to install the floor such as to protect any carpeting or flooring below, but the responsibility for any damage lies with the hirer. We would advise you to obtain professional advice when you require us to lay on specialist subfloors
