GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By confirming your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms
1. Any changes to the contract shall be agreed with Corporate Events (UK) Ltd and confirmed by both parties in writing
2. All payments shall be adhered to strictly. The agreed deposit shall be sent with the returned signed contract. The balance payable as detailed on the contract.
3. The hirer agrees to the cancellation fees as follows: In any event, Cancellations shall be made in writing. Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone. Contracts cancelled within 30 days of the event date are liable to the full contract fee. All other cancelled contracts will be liable to 30% of the contract fee. All deposits will be held against the cancellation fee.
For Live Entertainment and Acts the following applies
In the event of cancellation of this contract by the engager, and no replacement gig can be found, the following scale of fees will apply:-
(a) 31 days + before the date of the engagement 75% of the total fee is due. (b) within 30 days of the date of the engagement 100% of the total fee is due.
4. Corporate Events (UK) Ltd is covered by the appropriate public liability insurance for accidents caused by negligence of Corporate Events (UK) Ltd staff or by equipment malfunction. The client will make all participants aware that they use the equipment or take part in any of the games entirely at their own risk. Corporate Events (UK) Ltd will not be held responsible for non-performance of the contract by their subcontractors, artistes or representatives. Corporate Events (UK) Ltd cannot be held liable for any failure performance obligations under this agreement if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control. Any monetary compensation shall not exceed the contract value. Corporate Events (UK) Ltd reserve the right to ask anyone to stop using any equipment at any time due to there being a risk to the equipment or any other person by the said person or persons.
5. Any monies outstanding after the due date will incur interest at 3.5% over the Natwest base rate and will be subject to any costs relating to their recovery.
6. All equipment will be set up in accordance with the manufactures safety guidelines.
7. All equipment will hold an up to date PAT certificate
8. On events Corporate Events (uk) Ltd recommends there is a fully equipped staffed ambulance on site
9. Inflatable's and Bouncy Castles can not and will not be opened in the event of rain or if the activities are still wet.
10. Inflatable's and Bouncy Castles will be operated and run as per the manufacturers and insurance companies guidelines
HIRER'S RESPONSIBILITY
1. The Hirer at all times and in all respects compensate Corporate Events (UK) Ltd against and from any expense, liability, lost claim or proceed in whatsoever personal injury and in respect to damage to any property arising out of or in connection with the hirer's or the hirer's guests action.
2. Any damage to the equipment whatsoever, is at the discretion of Corporate Events (UK) Ltd and if deemed not to be fair wear and tear will be paid for by the hirer.
3. It is the hirer's responsibility to make his/her guests aware that if anybody has consumed alcohol or drugs or if they have any medical condition that will endanger them by using any equipment listed overleaf, then they should not use the equipment and no liability can be passed on to Corporate Events (UK) Ltd.
4. It is the hirer's responsibility to make sure there is nothing underground where inflatables will be staked down. Corporate Events (UK) Ltd can not be held for anything getting damaged underground
5. Wherever possible the hirer will provide food and soft drinks for all staff
